You’ve likely landed on this page because you’re smart enough to do some research before hiring a contractor.
We hired Frank Hernandez, who also goes by Frank Renos and Franco, and he RUINED our house, took our money, and then disappeared.
He has several different company names he goes by, to include the following:
- Frankee Handyman
- Frank Construction
- Siding, Roof and Exterior Repair Handyman Plus
- SureStaff
- Frank & Crew
He also currently uses several phone numbers:

- 224.313.8175
Sometimes he claims to live in Carol Stream, sometimes Schaumburg, and occasionally Hoffman Estates. He closes the comments on his social posts so disgruntled customers can’t comment.
We hired him toward the end of 2022 and paid him over 40K in 2023. He kept messing things up in our house and then saying he would clean it up at the end. After taking a month off over Christmas, and scheduling to come back in January and finish, he has completely ghosted us.
I’ve left over 25 voicemail messages, text messages, social messages, and he simply won’t respond. It will cost us over 25K to fix the work he messed up, and then we will be suing him for professional malpractice.
